Lilly for Target Review: Take 2

Lilly Pulitzer for Target Fan Dance Shift Dress || J.Crew Factory Denim Jacket || Jack Rogers Gold Navajo (but I'm digging these chambray and gold ones and these cork and gold ones and they're both such a steal! Off 5th has it going on right now.  These Jack Rogers Ballet Flats are under $50.)
Here's an up close of the fabric and lace - such a great stretch weave, if you ask me.  I feel like these run a lightly larger true to size if you're trying to buy on the resale market.  Last I checked it looked like things were simmering down to more reasonable prices.

This was my other online purchase, and I think it's my favorite.  I really love Lilly's commitment to continuing to produce a large selection of dresses with higher necklines.  Especially since they're pretty short, it's nice to know that I don't have to be too careful about the bottom of the dress and the top haha.

I have lots of weddings, events, and a beach trip planned this summer, so I've been trying to strategically plot what events to wear this dress to so that I can maximize the number of times I get to wear it but minimize the amount of people who have to see me in it too many times. (You guys know what I mean, I'm sure!)

I finished my last (in-class) exam today and just have two more take home exams due before I am officially done with college.  I don't think I've mentioned enough on here that I'm graduating college. ;)  Sad it's over, but cute summer clothes make me excited for whatever's next.

Hope you guys are having a happy Wednesday!

  2. Congrats on graduating!
Love that Lilly dress on you.
And I agree, higher neckline allows for a little shorter of a hemline.
I had gotten the Fan Dance Shift and I felt like it was more snug than most of my Lilly dress especially in the boob area for some reason so maybe it just differed from dress to dress?

  7. Congratulations on graduating soon! Also I love that purchase. I bought the Upstream shift from Lilly For Target and I am so thankful I was able to grab that before the craziness happened.

  8. Congrats on your upcoming graduation! If that's not a reason to lounge around this summer in your cute Lilly dress and toast to your accomplishments all summer, I don't know what is. ;-)

  9. I love how you paired with a denim jacket for a more casual look! I always feel like my lilly pieces are so dressy that I can't pair them with lesser pieces!
